Mr Tasuki Mak is the Senior Manager – InnoDesign Leadership & Knowledge Programmes of Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC). He is also the Project Lead of Institute of Design Knowledge (IDK), a division of HKDC which serves as a learning platform offering specialised training on the topics of innovation, design management, and creative leadership via bespoke workshops and lecture. Participating organisations included departments of the HKSAR Government such as Civil Service Bureau, Housing Authority, Hospital Authority, etc., the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the University of Hong Kong and a number of local schools and NGOs, etc.
Mr Mak holds a Master’s of Philosophy degree from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and specialises in areas of interactive environments, user experiences, design thinking and creative processes. Prior to his career at HKDC, Mr. Mak has been contributing his expertise as a design & management specialist. He held a lecturer position at the Hong Kong Design Institute and possesses over a decade’s experience on new commercial initiatives, strategic business development, branding and training.
