Longevity Design House & Longevity Technology

Inspired by the experience of taking care his late stage lung cancer father, Lawrence co-founded Longevity Design House (LDH) in 2015. It is the first design house specializing in home renovation and maintenance for the elderly with a focus in creating a comfortable and safe living environment in Hong Kong. In 2017, he further expanded its business into Gerontech sector and co-founded Longevity Technology, building a home-based e-health system and connecting assistive smart devices. Both ventures have served thousands of elderly households in Hong Kong and Macau, building a new service eco-system to shape a better aging at home experience for the elderly in Hong Kong.

Prior to his current position, he has a decade of experience in education philanthropy and public relations consultancy. He served as Global Communications Director of Yidan Prize Foundation, the largest educational prize in the world, to formulate the foundation’s thought leadership and global stakeholders outreach program for the launch of the prize. While he founded the first public relations firm specifically for social enterprises in Hong Kong, he had experience in serving multinational clients when he was a consultant of Weber Shandwick. 

As an enthusiast in volunteering, Lawrence is passionate about promoting social entrepreneurship and age-friendly city in Hong Kong. He served at the board of Fullness Social Enterprise Society and Golden Age Foundation.

Mr. Lui holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Science in Public Relations and Advertising from Hong Kong Baptist University. He also completed the non-profit executive education program at Harvard Business School.
