Since joining the Hong Kong Government, Mrs Judy Li worked in various government bureaux and departments including the Civil Service Bureau, Home Affairs Department, Chief Secretary’s Private Office, Post Office, Transport Department, the then Efficiency Unit and the Chief Secretary’s Office. She took up the post of Deputy Commissioner for Efficiency in October 2019.
She obtained her first and master degree from the University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University respectively. Sponsored by the Hong Kong Government, she also received training in the Columbia Senior Executive Programme organised by the Columbia University, New York; China Studies Course organised by Tsing Hua University, Beijing; and Advanced National Studies Course at the Chinese Academy of Governance, Beijing.
She was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star in 2018.
