Introducing Big Picture Learning at this year’s Social Enterprise Summit. With groups of no more than 20 students, Big Picture Learning not only focuses not only on the development of children's academic performance but also on student-adult relationships. Students spend a large portion of their academic days with an advisor who helps manage their learning, interest exploring, social-emotional learning and even seeking suitable internship. The guidance of these advisors has been a crucial support to keep some of the foster youths out of prison. Mr. Elliot Washor, co-founder of Big Picture Learning, will share more successful examples of innovative education at SES2018.
