The British Council and the Social Enterprise Summit (SES), along with the support of the Social Enterprise Business Centre (SEBC) at the Hong Kong Council of Social Services (HKCSS) and the General Chamber of Social Enterprises in Hong Kong (GCSE) are collaborating to conduct a social enterprise landscape survey in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong survey is part of a global series of surveys on the ‘State of Social Enterprise’, which is led by the British Council and has now been conducted in almost 30 countries.
The study aims to provide a summary of the current size, scale and scope of the sector in Hong Kong. The information collected through the study will enable actors within the ecosystem to track development, and identify opportunities to provide targeted and strategic support. It will identify key opportunities and issues that will need to be addressed in order to support a sustainable ecosystem for social enterprises.
The study will collect data through interviews, an online survey and focus group discussions. If you're interested to participate, please register here.
