Mr Andrew TSUI

Andrew Tsui is a social entrepreneur and passionate about innovation and urban solutions. He co-founded Rooftop Republic 4 years ago and, together with his team, has transformed over 50 underutilised urban spaces over 50,000 square feet, ranging from urban farms, integrated edible landscapes, indoor farming and AgTech developments.

Andrew is active in the social enterprise community, having served as a business summary judge and trainer for the Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge since 2011, and a consultant to HKUST’s SIGHT Programme on Design Thinking. He is a guest lecturer at the Institute for China Business, HKU SPACE on business innovation and sustainability. He is also an industry partner consulting on agritech initiatives for STEAM/STEM education.

Andrew graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree and received an EMBA degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and had served in the military, as well as the Business Development Director of a China-based asset management company.
