Dr Jane LEE, JP

Founding Chair, Social Enterprise Summit, HK & Chairperson, The Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund Task Force, HK

Dr Jane Lee joined Our Hong Kong Foundation in January 2023 as President and is currently also Deputy Secretary-General of the Hong Kong Coalition and Council Member of the Chinese Association of Hong Kong & Macao Studies under the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council.

Before joining OHKF Dr Lee was Director of the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui (Anglican) Welfare Council (2011-2022) and Deputy Director of HKUSPACE (2002-2011). In 2008, she initiated the annual Social Enterprise Summit and served as the Chair for ten years. From 1995 to 2002 she was the Founding Chief Executive of Hong Kong Policy Research Institute and is currently a member of its Board of Directors.

Dr Lee is active in public service and is currently Chair of the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund Task Force, member of Commission on Poverty and Antiquities Advisory Board. She also serves as Supervisor of SKH Lui Ming Choi Secondary School, the True Light Middle School of Hong Kong and Macao Anglican College. She is a member of the Council of St. John’s College of The University of Hong Kong and the Board of Directors and Council of Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education.

Dr Lee has authored / edited 12 books on a range of topics including social enterprise, public administration, public sector reform, and education. She has also published more than 50 book chapters and articles in various journals.
