Dr Ilex Lam possesses over 25 years of experience in managing global financial institutions with Investment management and advisory businesses for Asian central banks, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and UHNW and global institutional investors. He was named as“China Top 10 most Outstanding and Impactful Entrepreneur in Investment Management Business ”in 2011.

He is the founder of iEnterprise, a social innovative organisation which aims to help the disadvantaged to be employed and self-reliant. In early 2014, iEnterprise collaborated with HKBN and HKRP to set up“1083 Telephone Enquiries ”call center in HK, providing employing opportunities for people with disability and underprivileged community.  His tripartite collaborative model (Social Enterprise-Business Enterprise-NGO) was featured in“Creative, Hong Kong”TV program.  This cross boundaries partnership was also reported as a case model in the paper titled“Innovation that Unlock the Resources of Business for the Common Good”by Asia Center for Social Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy of National University of Singapore.

He is currently the Chairman of iEnterprise Foundation, Impact Investing Research Committee of Greater China Alternate Managers Association and Cardinalasia Consulting.  He also serves as Senior Advisor to UNDP SDG Impact Finance, Director of CareER, Advisor of Hong Kong Shared Good Values and Teen Future.

He holds his Doctorate Degree from UBI, Belgium, MBA from Warwick Business School, UK, Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Economics from SOAS London and Graduate Diploma of Financial Engineering from Stanford University and Senior Executive Program jointly offered by Harvard, Tsinghua and CEIBS.
