The increasing demands for public work and social job programs induced some countries to promote social entrepreneurship, from government-led service into citizen-led. With speakers from Japan and South Korea, they will discuss the social enterprise development policy and examining the institution’s role in nurturing social entrepreneurship, which would be helpful to many Asian societies that face stronger state and weaker civil society.
